Starting in Week 2, you’re pushing a little harder, for 35 minutes, and consuming more protein to fuel the burn. But it’s nothing you can’t handle. Tell Me About the Nutrition Aspect:
Well, as a former competitor, I can tell you that nutrition is 80% of our results. 20% fitness, 80% what you put in your mouth when you're not working out. If your nutrition fails, you will fail. The Shift Shop meal plan is designed to help fuel your body and shred to get you the best results yet. In week 1 you'll be eating more carbs, complex carbohydrates- don't worry, no math required- and keeping your protein intake high. Eating 6 smaller meals each day helps your metabolism stay up and your body continuing to work and burn. Week two you decrease your starchy carbs and drop a little on how much carb intake you have while increasing your protein a bit and adding in more healthy fats. Same goes for week three. Eliminating fruit and starchy carbs, your protein intake goes through the roof and throws your body into a fat burning machine--- and get this. UNLIMITED veggies. Where you're eating enough calories to sustain your body, you continue to burn but veggies- yes, there are carbs in veggies, help get you through those breakthrough days.
