Holiday Survival Group + 12 Days of Giveaways: November 27th - January 1st

holiday, survival, group, accountability, tips, nutrition, mom, easy, simple, results, stay, on track, menus, 12 days of giveaways, recipes

'Tis the season...

To make attempts to stay on track... but in reality... wine, turkey, appetizers, boozy festive drinks, parties, and too many cookies ALWAYS interfere with those plans.

As much as I'd always used to tell myself that it's going to be different this year, old habits die hard and I'd end up feeling pretty sluggish come January 1st.

Wouldn't it be nice to just get through the holidays without the added bloat, weight gain, and diving into the Christmas cookies at every opportunity? And maybe snag some cool holiday swag in the process?

My official Holiday Survival Group + 12 Days of Giveaways kicks off with a week of PREP on Monday November 27th and carries us into 2018.

I'll be teaching you balance through the holidays, a no-gain, at least maintain lifestyle and the ability to get a jumpstart on 2018 goals by creating healthy holiday and better nutritional habits that will stick and that you can take with you into January.

I'll teach you the importance of nourishing our bodies - without dieting. Portion control, foods designed to help you combat sugar cravings, fuel our bodies in the best way, and aid in weight loss/muscle gain as we work through a consistent fitness routine.

You'll be given a program based on your needs & fitness level + calendar + nutrition plan, sample menus, recipes & powerhouse nutrition that typically brings my clients a 5-15lb weight loss when followed accordingly and will help you boost your energy and metabolism.

The holiday season isn't a time to throw our goals out the window and decide to "wait until January to start"... it's a REASON to create the habits now that will make the biggest difference in our goals in the upcoming months, and to get a hell of a jumpstart on that 2018 mindset. And as a bonus- we'll kick off a 12 days of giveaways countdown to Christmas as part of your bonus for enrollment in this group!

Are you ready to finish this year strong?

Click this link HERE to complete the app which will reserve your spot in this group and so I can get to know you better and I'll get back to you in 24 hours!

**** To be eligible for 12 Days of Giveaways you MUST be enrolled by December 3rd. Spots will go quick!

Broccoli Cheddar Stuffed Sweet Potatoes

broccoli, stuffed, sweet potatoes, clean eating, healthy, 21 Day Fix, Portion Fix, Ashley Roberts, dinner, family, easy, meals

I think we all know what’s important in life.

Food that you can melt cheese on top of.

Tonight, I wanted a dinner that was simple, flavorful, and didn’t require a lot of effort on my part.  Granted this took almost an hour to cook, prep was about 10 minutes tops.  And the melty cheese part, well that’s a bonus.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!  Please leave me a comment below of what you thought!

4 small- medium sweet potatoes
2 lbs chicken breasts, thawed
Herbed chicken seasoning
1 bag frozen riced broccoli (or separately mince/pulse broccoli in food processor)
4 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese

Puncture sweet potatoes with a fork. Wrap in foil.  Bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
Season chicken with herbed seasoning.  Place in glass baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes until juices run clear.
* Chicken and potatoes can bake in the same oven at the same time!
In a skillet, cook broccoli 3-5 minutes until tender.
Shred chicken. Slice open sweet potatoes.
Stuff with chicken and broccoli mixture. Top with cheddar cheese.
Pop under broiler for 3-5 minutes until cheese bubbles.
Serve and enjoy!

For 21 Day Fix/Portion Fix:

1 - 1.5 yellow depending on size of potato
1 green
1 red
1/2 blue

Fitness For the Entire Family- Double Time Launch!

fit, family, healthy, double time, fitmommyashley, mom, kids, workout, videos, childhood obesity, simple, nutrition,
As a mommy, a pediatric nurse, and health and fitness coach, one of the biggest questions I am asked is, "How do I make this a healthier lifestyle for my family?"  With childhood obesity rates climbing to now affecting every 1 in 6 children, we as parents need to step up and get our kids active and healthy.  There are so many indoor distractions today- between phones, tv, games, miscellaneous electronics, that don't keep our kids active.  I'm always looking for new ways to be creative with my kids, with family friendly recipes, and with fitness too, and to teach them the importance of living a healthier lifestyle.

I am so excited that we now have an amazing FAMILY fitness program and nutrition plan that's to be done together as a family!  We've just officially launched Double Time with our infamous Tony Horton (you know that P90X and 22 Minute Hard Corps guy)  and it is designed for creating a healthier lifestyle and is something you can do with another person (your spouse, significant other, your kids, your roommate, sibling, friends, etc).

I'm launching an official FAMILY FITNESS SUPPORT GROUP kicking off November 27th with family friendly recipes, nutrition tips, meal planning, support, and a fun little family challenge complete with a workout calendar and a free t-shirt for completing the group too!

What is Double Time?

Double Time is the first 30-day partner workout program from Beachbody and Super Trainer, Tony Horton (the guy behind P90X). Designed with families in mind, it’s a fun way for you and a partner (like your spouse, a friend, or your kid(s) ) to exercise and eat yummy, healthy food as a team—all while sharing some one-on-one time!

• Double Time includes 4 cardio and strength routines, plus 1 core workout and 1 active recovery workout—all 35 minutes or less!
• You also get 2 bonus workouts with a Beachbody® On Demand membership: Funapalooza and Power Partners.
• You won’t just work out beside your partner. You actually need to work together to complete each move.
• Tony shows you different ways to modify the moves at a lower intensity.

Why work out with a partner?

Studies show that you’re way more likely to succeed with a fitness routine when you do it with another person. That’s why Double Time is so effective! When you have someone who’s working out with you every day (and who is committed to eating healthier), you’ll have way more motivation to make healthier choices. And that means you’re more likely to stay consistent and stick with the program.

Who is it for?

• Partners of any age and fitness level—like spouses, siblings, family members, or friends.
• Anyone who needs a little more accountability in order to create healthier habits and complete a fitness program.
• Mothers or fathers who want a fun way to connect with their kids—one that also teaches them the importance of exercise and balanced nutrition, healthier choices, simple recipes, and making it a family habit.

What makes Double Time unique?

double time, family, fitness, healthy, workout, support, nutrition, recipes • You can do any workout next to a partner, but with Double Time, you actually have to work together to complete the moves.
• The workouts are short and sweet (all 35 minutes or less) so you and your partner can easily fit them into your busy schedules.
• Using the Beachbody Buddy Ball makes each workout feel more like play and helps encourage some friendly competition between you and your partner.
• Partners don’t have to be at the same fitness level to do the workouts. Each of you can go at your own pace and still get an awesome workout.
• Double Time gives parents an awesome opportunity to introduce their kids to a healthy lifestyle with Daily Sunshine. It’s a whole-food-based 3-in-1 smoothie that’s made with organic fruits and veggies, plant-based protein, and healthy fats. Best of all, it's a pediatrician-approved formula with a kid-approved taste to help give growing kids nutrients they may not be getting in their normal diet.  Plus those extra fruits and veggies that our pickier kids don't always want to eat.

The Final Countdown- 8 Week Fitness Bootcamp 11/6-12/31

fitness challenge, bootcamp, workout, nutrition, meal planning, 80 day obsession, prepare to be obsessed, workout, end of the year, goals,

It's the final countdown... did you sing it like you remember it from the 80's?!

Tell me if you've been here before.  That first week of a brand new year and ambition is high.  We set lofty goals.  We're determined.  We want to lose X amount of pounds and inches.  We envision this rockstar summer body.  We are going to CRUSH it this year.... and then St. Patty's day happens.  Then Easter candy.  Memorial Day, summer BBQ's, Labor Day, Halloween Candy... and well, goals didn't quite get met.  Progress was, well...

Think about this...

There are 9 weeks left in 2017...

If you lose 3 pounds per week that's 27 lbs by the end of the year.
If you lose 2 pounds per week that's 18 lbs by the end of the year.
1 pound... you get it.

That's at least one change in clothing size.  A brand new size for a New Year's eve dress.  That's a hell of a start for 2018.  And I'll be preparing you for my 80 day challenge launching in January.

transformation, fitness, workout, fit, mommy, fitmommyashley, ashley roberts, support, fitness journey, home workout, As a woman, a mother, we spend the whole year pouring out of our own cup into everyone else's.  We give, give, give.  And put ourselves and our health last, all the time.  I mean, why as moms do we feel so guilty about taking time for ourselves?!  When if we actually legit TOOK TIME FOR OURSELVES we would fix and improve so many of those mom frustrations. One day at a time. One small change. One improvement. And those little adjustments began to add up.  But sometimes it takes just saying “I can” and knowing you deserve more.
I committed a few years ago to bettering my health, improving my fitness, and vowing to stay consistent through the year.  Accountability made the biggest difference, just having the support of a group and working through it together. Someone to hold me to my own personal goals.

I’m opening my Final Countdown 8 week Fitness Bootcamp beginning November 6th for 10 women who want to crush those end of 2017 goals. Strength. Fitness. Nutrition. Determination.

You'll have full access to digital workouts you can do from the comfort of your home.  A structured fitness and nutrition plan.  Nutrition tips.  Fitness challenges.  Meal planning.  Recipes.  Better nutrition.  Support, for a lifetime.

We've Gone International- Coaching and Fitness Mentoring Now in The U.K.

fitness, coaching, international, beachbody, mom, coach, wife, healthy, support, accountability, u.k., business, income, work, at, home, team, ashley roberts, fitmommyashley

Ahhhhhh!!!! Stop the presses!!! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§❤️πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§❤️

We're going international and going to the U.K. October 2017!!!

What does this mean?!

❤️ More opportunity to help people reach their goals!
πŸ’™ Opportunity to work with some incredible people who want to begin building a coaching business from across the pond.
❤️ The opportunity to see my business and our team expand internationally.
πŸ’™ The ability to do more, reach more, help more, and make more dreams come true!

I remember that day just like it was yesterday.  I had been on the fence for a while.
Self doubt and anxiety always had (and sometimes still have) a way of creeping in and making me second guess myself.

But I knew if I didn’t do it, I’d always have that “what if” feeling.  So one month after my 31st birthday, with my birthday money still burning a hole in my pocket, I invested in myself and started a business where I was the boss, and it scared the $%#+ out of me, but, I knew that I was meant for something more.  The postpartum moodiness/emotions, not feeling great in my skin, busyness of nursing school starting up again, and three young girls at home, my husband looked at me like I was crazy.

Maybe it was the fact that I was no longer contributing income to our family.  Or that I was still self conscious about my body, one that had carried and given life to three beautiful girls, or that I just NEEDED a community of support, but I went all in.

Three years later, that $140 investment has more than paid for itself, and I don’t just mean in income.  I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I’m healthier than I’ve ever been. I’ve not only gained muscle but I’ve gained confidence.  I no longer feel sluggish day in and day out and crave that afternoon nap.  I’ve learned so much about health and fitness and about leadership too.  I’ve learned to love my body and embrace the journey, and I get to help other women do the same, everyday.

But ultimately, I’ve gained a community.  Support. Encouragement. Love. Friendships. And a pretty amazing tribe of women who show up for each other and continue to raise the bar in their own lives everyday.  And as we expand to the U.K. I can’t help but feel “home”, doing what I love.

I am hiring for my November Apprenticeship program and opening this opportunity for women who are ready to take that same leap, and begin something amazing.

If you're interested in more details, those in the U.K. who are looking to build a fitness and nutrition based buisness helping others reach their goals, and those of you in the U.S. and Canada looking to expand your coaching business internationally please click HERE to apply for the opportunity or send me an email to
